Northwest Side Irish Parade (NWSI)

Parade:

Start: 12:00 pm Kick off begins at 6634 W. Raven (Onahan School)

End: Approximately 1:30 pm at Harlem Ave.


NWSI Official After Party -  

Start -Immediately after the parade at Immaculate Conception Elementary School Recreation Center 7271 W. Talcott & End's —5:00pm


On Sunday March 17, 2019 the NWSI will host their 16th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade. The parade will kick off at 12:00pm at 6634 W. Raven (Onahan School) and will run south up Neola Avenue to Northwest Highway north to Harlem Avenue, ending at Harlem Avenue. 

There are more than one hundred parade group participants, and approximately twenty-five hundred marching, along with thousands of spectators who will attend the Northwest Side Irish Friends and Family Parade.

The NWSI committee is honored and proud to announce the 2019 Grand Marshal, Brian Hancock NWSI 2019 Humanitarian Award recipient is Teamsters Joint Council 25 President Terry Hancock. The 2019 NWSI Queen is T.B.D., her court is T.B.D.  For more information about our honorees, please visit our website at www.northwestsideirish.org 

More parade participants include: The Emerald Society Band, Chicago Pipes and Drums, Mullane Irish Dancers, Trinity Irish Dancers, St. Patrick’s High School, Notre Dame High School Band, William Howard Taft High School Band, O’Hare Irish Dancer, Dillon Gavin Irish Dancers, Teamsters JC 25, Sheet Metal Workers Local 73, IBEW Local 134, SEIU Local 73, CTA, Regina High School, Chicago Pipes and Drums, and many many more.

The Official NWSI After Party will take place at 7271 W. Talcott at Immaculate Conception Elementary School Recreation Center. Tickets for the after party are $10.00 per person includes a  Corned Beef and cabbage dinner, beer, wine and soda. $5.00 for children 10 and under includes hot dog, chips and a soda. The after party includes live entertainment, face painting, balloon magic, raffles and extended family fun. The Official NWSI After Party begins at 1:00 to 5:00pm
